would Trading your coinmama, coinbase or gemini purchased coins on an exchange for monero (for privacy)
THEN sending your monero to a wallet, then to a gambling site alleviate the nosey bitches controls?
IF the gambling site doesn’t accept monero, send it back to a different exchange to trade for a coin the gambling site does accept.
Would this work?

If I buy bitcoin through coinmama, exchange through Changelly, can I store my dash on my hard drive wallet?

Like the title says, I’m looking to exchange 1 bitcoin for dash but I want to keep it on my Trezor wallet. Is this possible or do I need a separate Dash wallet?

[Guide] How to send money from abroad to Lebanon?

This questions is being asked a lot so we might as well post all the possible options as off July 1, 2020.

-------------- International Bank Transfer in Fresh USD Account --------------

1. Open a fresh money account in your bank
Blom Bank: https://www.blomretail.com/retail/bank-accounts-lebanon/fresh-money-accounts
Bank Audi: https://www.bankaudi.com.lb/externalaccount
Byblos Bank: https://www.byblosbank.com/personal/accounts/current/
Fresh Money Account or External Account is a bank account that has real USD, unlike old/regular bank accounts which have lollars in them. (Lollars are Lebanese Dollars aka Dollars stuck in Lebanese banks, aka Dollars in bank accounts before October 2019)
In order to receive an international incoming bank transfer, make sure you go to your bank before the transfer is done and open an external or fresh money bank account. Do NOT transfer into your old USD account.
2. Tell the bank you're expecting to receive an international incoming bank transfer and want to withdraw it in USD
Some banks are giving out the entire incoming bank transfer in USD. Other banks are giving 80% of the incoming transfer in USD while giving the rest in LBP. Make sure you talk with your bank and negotiate the entire thing before any transfer is done
3. Transfer and withdraw the money in USD
Transfer can take from 4-7 business days and costs will be incurred on the sender and the receiver

-------------- Bitcoin --------------

Check this quick video LINK
1. Use your foreign (not Lebanese) credit/debit card to purchase BTC (Bitcoin)
You can purchase BTC (Bitcoin) from
When you purchase Bitcoin through any of the mentioned websites, you will be able to send Bitcoins to a wallet of your choice or keep them on the exchange.
2. The person who's going to receive the money in Lebanon opens a bitcoin wallet
The person who's going to receive the money in Lebanon opens a bitcoin wallet that can be done in less than 2 minutes using any of the free wallets such as (BlueWallet,Coinomi, Exodus)
This can be done for free on a laptop or mobile phone.
3. The sender sends the bitcoin from his wallet to the receiver's wallet
4. The transfer could take up to 10-20 minutes and should not take more than $1 per transaction.
5. Once the receiver (Person in Lebanon) receives the bitcoin, he can list them for sale in exchange for USD or black market rate LBP
However you can skip this step by arranging a trade by yourself so instead of sending it to your family or friends you can send it to the person who is willing to buy it from you and they will deliver LBP as per your arrangement or through OMT.
6. Bitcoin can be sold on
https://localbitcoins.com/
Live market places on Telegram: https://bitcoinduliban.org/communities
7. If someone needs to immediately sell his bitcoin, he can offer a lower price (lower than the exchange rate) and a buyer will most probably immediately accept the sale
8. Selling bitcoin in exchange for USD, requires the buyer and the seller to meet physically
9. Selling bitcoin in exchange for LBP (black market rate), does not require the buyer and the seller to meet, the transaction can be completed by using OMT.
For more information about how bitcoin works please check the AMA that was done here in our subreddit, and check https://bitcoinduliban.org/

-------------- Western Union --------------

1. Transferring money from abroad through Western Union is possible but not advisable because of the huge loss that will be incurred on the receiver
2. Check today's rate here: https://www.omt.com.lb/en
3. For example, today for every 1 USD that Western Union/OMT receives from abroad, they will give out 3,800 LBP. At the same time the black market rate today is $1 = 8,500 LBP. Check the current black market rate here

Buy bitcoin with gift card or debit card NO KYC or Verification with ID

I’ve spent easily 6 hours looking for a website that I can buy bitcoin with no KYC but have only been lied to by websites that do require ID. Very discouraging and tiring to find no website that works since now every website needs kyc this year :(
Some Info: I used to use paxful but now they require KYC just to use their damn wallet. Which means I have $30 worth of bitcoin lost there.
I live with my parents so I can’t prove I live at any address with documents nor do I want to.
I have a debit card and could buy with that or buy a gift card online and buy bitcoin using that. But I cannot get a Visa or mastercard gift card online. So a legit website using amazon or best buy gift cards or something would work. No kyc obviously.
I live in the US so sites that work here
I’m trying to buy around $100 USD of bitcoin
I don’t want to have to wait a day just get the bitcoin so a quick website would be great
I use blockchain as a wallet but they kyc if I wanted to buy
I don’t want to meet in person to do anything or can’t do the Bank transfer to cash deposit to someone
I have tried this websites and they don’t work for me: Coinmama Changelly (lies about kyc) Bitsell X (Tried using but redirected me to changelly) Also No reviews
Ipayyou (looks suspicious; don’t want to get scammed) Paxful Bitrefill (sold out of crypto vouchers; could figure it out) Cryptovouchers (they kyc don’t want to lose money) Fold app (don’t think you can buy bitcoin using a giftcard only the other way around) Cash App (kyc) BaseFex (couldn’t figure out the derivative markets; don’t think I can just buy using a debit card either) Agora Desk; I might use but it looks suspicious still and would have to use cashapp to buy someone Wall of coins (Have to go in person somewhere) Switchere (Scared of kyc) HodlHodl (Not avaible in us) Bisq (Hard to use; Couldn’t figure out plus high fees don’t want to get scammed) Local cryptos (Dont support payment methods i want) Bitvalve (Inactive sellers wouldn’t respond) TotalCoin app (Barely any seller probably inactive) Coin corner (Not in Us plus lies about no kyc) Kyc not me (none that fit my requirements) Kucoin (only one seller that is selling $1000 or more) Bitquick (Have to go to bank to deposit cash) Buy crypto today (Low amount of sellers)
This is very depressing because it once was very easy and enjoyable to buy bitcoin now their is all this kyc and have to wonder if i’m getting scammed.
Might have to use bitsell x or Agora desk but would rather not.
If you can help or give a good website I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Scam Alert - Godfinex and PETC ICO is a scam!

Hello , I just want to raise an awareness of something that has recently happened to a friend of mine. He was introduced to Godfinex trading platform to trade an a new cryptocurrency called PETC. He, unfortunately was introduced to this through a "friend"
It begins with innocent discussion on investments but later the "friend" started showing the amount of money that this PETC has made for him/her and started asking if he would like to invest as well. The way to invest in this was to purchase bitcoin through coinbase / binance / coinmama etc and then deposit it into the wallet given on the website. You then use that BTC to exchange for PETC.
The price of PETC started soaring which causes my friend to put in even more money. Unfortunately he put in almost all of his savings into the investment. Lo and behold, when he is asking to get the money out, there is no way of taking them back out due to the coin being in a "subscription period"
Just like that he is going to lose all his savings and looks like he is not the only person that has been scammed. This article found online is with the website Onefinex which I am pretty sure is operated by the same person.

Where to buy BTC with debit in US? Coinbase not an option. Coingate legit?

Fucking Coinbase is limiting me to how much BTC I can buy. I keep seeing Coingate post in this sub on old threads and checked the site. It looks nice but has anyone used it?
Add-on q: once I find a place to buy, I can buy there then send to my Electrum desktop wallet. Not understanding how you transfer from that to a Tails Electrum wallet. Is it the same wallet, just a different address you set up while on Tails? Thanks.

Blacklisted from bitcoin sellers that have US FinCEN approval

I have tired to purchase bitcoin recently from several bitcoin selling services, trying to buy with a debt card and ID verification.
I had used these services several times in the past over the last 5 years. It started with a cashapp ban.
The i was banned from coinmama, paybis, and coinbase. All one immediately after the other once I tried too make transactions after the cash app ban.
They all tell me that their security team determined they cannot do business with me any longer after being a long time customer with all of these companies.
They added ingury to insult by saying they cannot discuss why I am banned do you security reasons so I have no idea and think I may be on a USA FinCEN blacklist or similar but cannot find any info on it.
Who else has had this issues? I think the worse thing I did was Withdrawl my coins from my seller wallet to a primdice bitcoin dice betting app. I had no idea the ban would be universal.
Can you guys give me some info, I run a small business that runs off bitcoin payments and if I cannot convert my coins to fiat I will go out of business right away.

N00b Quick Guide on How To Buy (buying BTC anonymously, encryption, wallet, & Tor)

Feel free to downvote and/or offer improvements. I'm putting this up in the hopes someone else doesn't have to go through what I just went through. It was way more complicated than it needed to be.
  1. Download Tor *(see note in edits below regarding config / Javascript)
  2. Find marketplace you wanna use (Check /onions' sidebar: How the heck am I supposed to find .onions and other stuff)*
  3. Access market with Tor. Don't use a VPN*, there are tons of articles/threads/comments that explain why VPNs + Tor are not advisable. All you need is Tor.
  4. Use local BTC ATM. There are some that only ask for SMS # to send confirmation code. Use Google on your phone to find a temp SMS number you can use while you're standing there at the kiosk. There are tons of sites, most don't ask for registration. Buy BTC with cash.
  5. From kiosk, send directly to market account, or whatever wallet you're using.
  6. See this thread for encryption steps. Thread is 7 years old, but first comment from I_DONT_HAVE_AIDS/ is still accurate and works.
  7. Do not use the market's auto-encrypt feature. Do it yourself.
Hoping this thread can stay up/doesn't violate any policies (I don't think it does....) If you want to downvote, that's your choice, but some constructive feedback is better for everyone, I'll edit the post.
Fuck TAILS*, fuck tumbling, fuck Coinbase/Coinmama (Coinmama is a nosey bitch tracking your coin)/etc.... just go the ATM route. It's far, far easier. If you buy with a burner number and cash there's really no way to track it. They'd have to subpoena shopkeepekiosk owner for video cameras (assuming there even are any) and unless you're doing something really wild, no one is going to go to that trouble. This allows you to skip over a ton of OpSec steps that are, frankly, just obnoxious AF (albeit necessary - but this conforms to the OpSec).

Alternatives to Coinbase, Cashapp and Coinmama? US Player

I’ve been using CoinMama lately to deposit on ACR due to the quick turn around of depositing via debit card, sending to my blockchain wallet and then to ACR. As of today somehow I can no longer use my debit card to purchase bitcoin on their site. Are there any solid alternative sites/exchanges where I am able to get my money from The exchange-wallet-ACR in under an hour. I’ve used coinbase in the past and they only take my bank information which takes 48+ hours and I cannot get my ID to scan on cashapp and have been waiting for over 2 weeks to hear back. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
Edit: also sites that don’t take days to verify IDs and all that as I’m trying to deposit for this weekends events. Hopefully I’m not out of luck!
