Context for anyone that doesn't know what .win is: ".win" is The Donald's new safe haven reddit copy that they made after they got purged off of reddit for their hate speech persecuting minorities. They'll say they're not racist, but they'll die on any hill that defends their beliefs that immigrants are evil devils taking their jobs, and that most Mexicans are rapist, murderers, and thugs. Hmm, I wonder why anyone would call them racist? Don't even get them started in innocent people of color getting killed by cops either. Because according to them, they shouldn't have resisted, and are thugs who shouldn't be martyrd. A hateful bunch they are that this site has done very well to have removed from itself.
More context for those who don't know, .win is a Trump supporting website, and Trump hates Bitcoin. He has vowed to destroy it. Old idiot doesn't even realize you can't kill a decentralized internet network. That is more impossible than China's old vow to kill the internet when it was new. That is our president, the new China who wishes to kill the new internet

People of reddit, what is your bitcoin story?

submitted by fucks40ozContainer to AskReddit [link] [comments]

The_Donald migrated to a custom-made uncensored reddit alternative in a matter of days. Bitcoiners have suffered even more from censorship here, yet are not willing to commit to using blockchain-based alternatives. What do you think is the reason for that?

Sure, user experience on yours.org and memo was subpar in the past, but all the BCH-based alternatives look pretty decent at the moment.
Could it be that fully replicating reddit's UI makes the process easier?
IMO it's either that or the fact that their subreddit makes heavy use of stickied messages.
The third reason I could think of is that we're hoping to introduce redditors to bitcoin cash, thus an active community here could be helpful. But this still doesn't explain the significantly lower activity on the alternative websites...
What do you guys think? I think a discussion like this could greatly help memo, read.cash, honest.cash and satoshiwall...

Not sure, what I do know though is often questions like this are asked on Reddit and never really answered correctly or answered at all, I’ve asked before about when satoshi said BItcoin could scale through simple SPV wallets and never found out why he thought that or why he got it wrong.
My point is if this person or group were so smart you’d not expect these kind of mistakes.

Did you see a fucking multiply sign dumb ass?so what the fuck have you been going on about? I worded it to save confusion for stupid people because Reddit is full of them and you are proof, you read it wrong and called me dumb piss off.
How many Zeros in a million?
There are 6 zeros right
So 23,000,000 is 23 million, not billion not trillion.
23,000,000,000 wrote like this means billion!
23,000,000,000,000 wrote like this is trillion!
I said 23 million people wrote like this for the last time FFS 23,000,000 I put the word million on the end so people new I meant million I didn’t intend some pure idiot to try multiplying it and getting a different figure there is no multiply sign.
You are cringe worthy stupid!
Which is less than half a percent of the worlds population.
You are the dumbest bastard I’ve ever met on Reddit you don’t know the difference between million billion and trillion and I’m done trying to teach you.
Your teachers must have struggled like fuck with you at retard school 🤷‍♂️.
Go away.

Bitcoiners of reddit. What is your experience currently being a bitcoin user?

submitted by Liam_Cat to AskReddit [link] [comments]

Should I just stick with Bovada? Is it really as villainous as Reddit makes it out to be? If not what’s my best option (I don’t mess with bitcoin)? From CT so has to be an offshore site.

What’s up y’all, I know this has been posted a million times on here but it seems like in each thread I find slightly different answers, so I figure I’ll get my own.
I started betting last year on college football on Bovada- started with 100$ deposit managed to turn that into 1500 by the end of the season using mostly teasers and parlays. Haven’t tried to withdraw or anything yet so it’s just sitting there, but this season I’ve got a plan and am hoping to turn that 1500 into around 10,000 or so- hopefully more (ik how this sounds but idk y’all just gotta trust me on that front haha I know cfb like the back of my hand)
Around 70% of the people on here seem to have had horrible experiences with Bov either not getting their full amount of money or not getting any at all or having their account shutdown when they get on a hot streak. The other 30% have no complaints and say they’ve never had an issue. So Should I stick with Bovada or switch to another site?
Edit: probs could’ve/should’ve posted this in General Questions but responses have been helpful and much appreciated. Good luck out there degens
