What happens when a country bans bitcoin?

Do we have any data on what happens when a country bans bitcoin or cryptocurrencies?

From the inside of said country, do the price goes up or down? Does demand increase or decrease?

If a country bans bitcoin, investors will move away

In Puerto Rico, there is no tax on crypto. You can hodl and then once you are a multimillionaire you can just go to puerto Rico and retire. If a country bans crypto or excessively taxes it, bitcoin holders can just move, depriving the country of tax revenue and business while the crypto friendly country receives business, capital, and potential tax revenue. This means there is a price to being crypto unfriendly. A country does so at its peril. Countries don't matter anymore.
The people don't bow down to countries anymore. Countries bow down to the people now.
Unless every single government in the world launches a coordinated attack on crypto, there is no stopping crypto.

Segwit2x is the REAL Banker takeover? Maybe that's why China and other countries banned Bitcoin and Ico.

https://np.reddit.com/btc/comments/743qb8/is_segwit2x_the_real_banker_takeove
Segwit2x is the REAL Western Bankers takeover. Heres the break down
So, to recap: DCG's Board of Directors and Advisors is almost entirely made up of Central Bankers including one currently sitting Member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and another who was Chief Economist at the World Bank.
The CEO of the company spearheading the Segwit2x movement (Barry Silbert) is an ex investment banker at Houlihan Lokey. Also, Mastercard is an investor in the company DCG, which Barry Silbert is the CEO of.
The company overseeing development on Segwit2x, Bitgo, has a product/service that seems to only have utility if transacting on chain and using 0-Conf is inefficient or unreliable.
Segwit2x takes power over Bitcoin development from core, but then literally gives it to central bankers and Mastercard. If segwit2x goes through, BTC development will quite literally be controlled by central bankers and a currently serving member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

What will happen if your country bans bitcoin after buying?

Suppose from today the government declares Bitcoins as illegal in your country then any kinds of exchange of Bitcoin become illegal. All trading platform and companies have to be shut down within given time by the government.
But before taking any legal step towards banning bitcoin. The government will definitely consider the loss of investor and companies. To recover the loss, the government will provide some ultimatum to trading companies to return users investment and make an exit from the market.

Could a Country ban Bitcoin if its government has previously sold seized Bitcoin?

Would be an interesting legal conundrum - at the very least they'd surely have to refund buyers.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But BitCoins being banned in some countries is crucial.

This has to happen for it to be adapted as the stable international currency for which it was intended. All that happens if a country bans Bitcoin is money doesn't come in to their country. All the while, it remains as the cheapest way to transfer money, something the country cannot stop.
