Struggling to find Bitcoin platform. Help!

I’m brand new to bitcoin, but not to investing. Long time total stock market index fund investor with Fidelity. I’ve realized the direction Bitcoin is headed and the value it brings, and after much studying, I want in. However, I cannot come to a consensus for myself on the platform. I want to get going, but keep waffling back and forth. What I’m looking for? Security, a platform with its own wallet, nothing super complex, no waiting for days to get started, and low fees. I feel like my faves so far are Gemini, Kraken, and Coinbase or Coinbase Pro. I really just want to make a decision, and get going with Bitcoin investing. I would so appreciate any feedback. Thanks so much!

Retrieve old HD to find bitcoin?

Hey guys! I got a text from an old friend recently. I was working at a restaurant back then and we were talking and I bought his macbook back in 2012. When I went home. It was locked. The second day he came over to buy a slice of pizza and I told him it was locked and even went through a tiny fight. Long story short. He texted me the code and I made a fresh restore and wiped off his info and put on my info. The text I got recently is him telling me that he thinks he gave me an external HD thinking there could be bitcoin in it. I honestly don’t remember him giving me anything else besides the laptop and the charger. Could the bitcoin be on the HD of the mac and I wiped it off? I doubt there is a way to bring his info back since this happened in 2012 If that’s true I’ll be sad for him and I after he said he will give me my cut 🤦🏻‍♂️ Is it possible?

Help finding bitcoin documentary from 2015/15

So I’m trying to show a video to a couple friends to help them understand bitcoin. I remember a couple years ago a segment aired that was around a hour-1:30 long on MSNBC or CBS that went into detail about bitcoin. A big portion of it focused around the original founders, who satoshi possibly is, its use cases is and showed the bitcoin exchange in NY as well. For the life of me I cannot find it on YouTube or elsewhere but does anyone have an idea of what it was called?
