Bitcoin QT keeps crashing on Mac. How do I export my Wallet?

I want to export my wallet and open on a Linux machine. Armory and Bitcoin-QT keep crashing -- I just updated them last week and I'm concerned I won't be able to access my coins.

The Bitcoin-qt 0.81 app on my Mac crashes from time to time with no apparent reason???

After start-up it then again runs for a while, maybe a few hours, before it crashes again. Otherwise everything works well.

Trying to install Bitcoin-qt on Mac OS X, crashes Finder every time. Common?

Trying to install Bitcon-qt (http://sourceforge.net/projects/bitcoin/) on my Mac running OS X 10.9.1 and whenever the installer window opens ("drag to your applications folder") I get the spinning wheel of death.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Bitcoin 2 Core v.2.2 Wallets Released!

Now available for download at https://www.bitc2.org/#wallets and https://github.com/BITC2/bitcoin2/releases
Version 2.2 Change log:
Updating your Bitcoin 2 Core wallet to this version is mandatory. That includes upgrading all your Masternodes. After enough nodes have upgraded to this version, a new staking protocol will be activated and the old nodes that fail to upgrade their wallet before that will end up forking to the wrong chain. Estimated time of this protocol upgrade is between August 21 - August 24 2019. As soon as possible.
To update, you just need to download the archive, stop your wallet and let it fully shutdown, and then copy the executable files in the bitcoin2-bin folder to replace the ones you had installed already.
After upgrading your Masternode and your desktop wallet, you should go in the Masternodes tab on your controller wallet and click to Start the upgraded Masternodes.
Binaries for a couple of platforms that are less used are still to be compiled.

[PSA] Dogecoin Wallet version 1.4 released. You must update.

WARNING: DO NOT send your wallet.dat file or dogecoin folder to anyone. There have been reports of people offering to help others by asking them to send their files to them so they can help. DO NOT do this. Scam attempt picture
Always encrypt your wallet! I can't express this enough. You should use a strong password longer than 15 characters. This password should contain numbers, symbols, and some capitalization! There is no need to have your wallet open 24 hours a day. Open it only when you need it. See - 'Getting Started' on the side bar.
This entire post has been written to be as close to ELI5 (Explain it like I'm 5) as possible - By request! If anyone wants to add/fix/correct anything in this message, please send a message to the mods <<-- Click blue text.
All blue text in this post can be clicked on. The blue text is a link to a picture, site or download file.
A very important message/reminder below.
25 Jan 1.5 pre-releases have started.
http://www.reddit.com/dogecoin/comments/1uhpwf/dogecoin_for_mac_14_topic_thread/
OLD VERSIONS The 1.4 update for the dogecoin wallet has been released. This update addresses the block chain error that occurred. This update is mandatory meaning you have to do this update. Also further down the page you can read up about the block chain. You MUST make sure you're on the correct block chain and the old block chain has been removed.
For a Windows computer the version must be 1.4. - 1.4.1 just released! See below
For a Apple Mac Computer the version must be 1.4
Download links:
[Windows Download Link](https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/releases/download/1.4/dogecoin-qt-v14-Win.zip) <<--Click to start download
Windows Download Link 1.4.1 UPDATED 19JAN
Mac Download Link <<--Click to start download
Mac users can join this thread if there are any problems
Android (phone): Please see This post
To update, simply download the new version from the download link above. Open the downloaded file and extract the contents of the downloaded file into any new folder or location on your computer. If you put the files into a folder you can name the folder anything you want but make sure you remember that this is the latest version of the software.
You don't have to remove your folder containing the old version of the wallet. You can place it in a folder called 'Old versions of dogecoin wallet' if you like.
Now you can click on the Dogecoin icon contained in the new folder to open your version 1.4 wallet.
What happens if I get an error when I open the new wallet?
An error was reported called "11DbException"
If this happens Download this file and place it in the same folder as your updated wallet. Open the file you just downloaded called "Dogecoin OPEN' and wait. This might take 2 or 3 minutes.
Also jtlarousse has found a solution that worked on Windows. Please follow carefully and make backups before starting.
Reebzy might have found a solution for Apple Mac
Blockchain fork 101: The block chain is a ledger or document created containing every transaction that has ever happened. This file can be quite large. Bitcoins ledger is over 15GB. At some point this document/ledger split into two separate documents known as a fork.
How do I know if I am on the right block chain?
Go to your newly updated dogecoin wallet and open it. Click on Help>>Debug next Observe the current block number
*Note the example numbers in the pictures might be out of date by the time you read them
Now go over to http://dogechain.info/chain/Dogecoin . This website is the official Dogecoin blockchain website. Check the block number they're reporting
The number you found in your wallet and the number reported on the website should close. There might be a difference of 100 blocks depending on when you last refreshed your wallet or how long it took for you to get from one step to the next step in this guide and if the dogechain website is lagging.
I'M NOT ON THE CORRECT BLOCK CHAIN
My numbers are very different. How do I get back onto the right block chain?
IMPORTANT
For windows:
1)Close down the Dogecoin wallet client.
2)Go to your data folder: C:\Users[your windows log-in name]\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin
3)Delete the Dogecoin.conf file. Do not delete the wallet.dat file!
4)Download this update file and place it into the Dogecoin folder where the other file was deleted.
For Apple Mac:
1)Close down the Dogecoin wallet client.
2)Go to your data folder: ~/Libarary/Application Support/Dogecoin
3)Delete the Dogecoin.conf file. Do not delete the wallet.dat file!
4)Download this update file and place it into the Dogecoin folder where the other file was deleted.
Next visit this post by Netcodepool for instructions on how to manually download the correct block chain and install it.
Much Thanks.
Edit: Some posts were removed from this thread. To limit confusion.
Check this post for details about mining pools that were/are using the wrong fork.
Did you send coins only to find out you're on the wrong chain? See this post to get them back
An Apple Mac support thread has been made by voidref (The mac developer). If you're having troubles please see this thread
Some shibes have reported their wallets wont sync. Please check to make sure your firewall, antivirus, malware scanner or similar programs are not blocking it the wallet. You can add rules to these programs to allow the wallet to make contact with the internet. It's not advised but possible to also disable the software for a short amount of time. Don't forget to enable the software again afterwards.
Is your wallet crashing? Try this helpful tip from gandhikahn or if you're using windows try the 1.4.1 update above.

Groestlcoin Release September 2018

Introduction

As always, the past 3 months since 22nd June have been crazy busy. The bears might still be around, but the show must go on and of course has not slowed the Groestlcoin development team in the slightest. Here’s a quick overview of what has already happened since the last release: - Integrated into the bitbns exchange, with the ability to buy Groestlcoin directly with the Indian Rupee. - Groestlcoin Rebrand Vote – Whilst there was much talk and push for a rebrand vote, the overall result was almost unanimously in favour of keeping our unique and conversation-starting name. With just 83 votes to Rebrand, and 2577 votes to No Rebrand. Thank you for all who voted, the funds raised are being used to fund ongoing hosting and development costs. - Integrated into the Cryptobridge exchange. Cryptobridge is a popular decentralised exchange where you always hold the private keys to your funds, only YOU have access to them. - Groestlcoin has been added to SimpleSwap – Groestlcoin can now be swapped with over 100 other cryptocurrencies, without signing up! - Groestlcoin has been added to UnoDax, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in India, with TUSD, BTC and INR trading pairs. - Groestlcoin has been added to SwapLab.cc, where you can buy Groestlcoin using Bitcoin and over 50 other altcoins. Purchasing with VISA/Mastercard is coming VERY SOON. Discussed later: - Groestlcoin has been listed on #3 largest exchange in the world on volume, Huobi Global! More on this to come further on in the announcements. - Groestlcoin has been added to the Guarda Multi-Currency Wallet. - Groestlcoin has been added to Melis Multi-Device, Multi-Account, Multi-Platform, Multi-Signature advanced wallet! Already this list is far more than most other cryptocurrencies have achieved in the past 3 months. But this is just the tip of the iceberg of what has been developed.

What's been Happening?

GRSPay Released

We are so excited for this, that it has it's own separate reddit thread. Head over there now at https://www.reddit.com/groestlcoin/comments/9ikr5m/groestlcoin_releases_grspay/? to see more on this!

Melis Wallet

The the most advanced wallet for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and now Groestlcoin.
With Melis you have the complete control of your bitcoins and private keys, you can define spending limits policies and make use of two or more factors authentication. Melis is open source, published on GitHub.

How Melis Works?

You can create as many accounts as you want. An account is a part of your wallet that can be customised to your requirements. You can choose how many co-signers are required to spend funds. The accounts are completely independent and act like separate wallets from each other but can be accessed via the same details. A core feature of Melis is the ability to set a ‘primary’ device. With this you can set an account as ‘Secure’ so it is only viewable (and accessible at all) from the Primary device. You can have a savings account hidden from the outside world whilst also having your ‘spending’ funds available on the go. With Melis you can create a multi-signature account between N people, where up to N signatures are required to sign a transaction, choosing if any of those should be mandatory.

Integrated into Blockchain Financial

What is Blockchain Financial?

Blockchain Financial is a set of web based services for individuals and companies that want to make things happen with the Cryptocurrencies Ecosystem. - For those that don't know anything about cryptocurrencies, we offer tools that will let them receive, send and operate with an assortment of coins. - For those that are already riding the wave, we offer tools that will let them do all those things that they weren't able to do.

Blockchain Financials mission

We're not here to reinvent the wheel. We're here to make it run smoother for you, and we provide some of the most useful services you'll find on the internet, made in a way that is easy to understand and use on a daily basis. In short, we're a bunch of people that claim to be Crypto Evangelists. We strongly believe in cryptocurrencies, and our main promise is to push them up so more people get involved and take all the advantages they offer.

More information from Blockchain Financial

Back in 2014, the world was taken by storm when Facebook approved the first cryptocurrencies tipping apps. The first was for Dogecoin, and the second was for multiple coins.
The project was hosted on whitepuma.net, and persisted for almost two years, built up a massive user community and gave a home to Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and dozens of other bitcoin-based altcoins.
After very active months, the tipping hype started to fade away. Then, the developers decided to jump into the next stage: bringing not only tipping, but also mining and a widget that could be embedded on websites to allow everyone to accept payments. Sadly, the work was never completed because the project started to require an unsustainable amount of resources. Then, in a painful decision, a shutdown was announced by December 2015.
A couple of months after whitepuma.net was closed, the source code was released by its creator as Open Source on GitHub. But it wasn't maintained.
Now, some of the original members of the dev and admin teams gathered up with a handful of the WhitePuma's elite users, and decided to make something good with the best pieces of the old source code. That, with fresh new ideas and the power of the BardCanvas engine, synthesized the core of Blockchain Financial.

Groestlcoin Core v2.16.3 - Please Update ASAP

A new major Groestlcoin Core version 2.16.3 is now available for download which includes both a Denial of Service component and a critical inflation vulnerability, so it is recommended to upgrade to it if you are running a full Groestlcoin node or a local Groestlcoin Core wallet.
v2.16.3 is now the official release version of Groestlcoin Core. This is a new major version release with a very important security updates. It is recommended to upgrade to this version as soon as possible. Please stop running versions of Groestlcoin Core affected by CVE-2018-17144 ASAP: These are 2.13.3 and 2.16.0.
As a result in this, all exchanges and services have been asked to upgrade to this version, so please be patient if wallets go in to maintenance mode on these services.

What's new in version v2.16.3?

This is a major release of Groestlcoin Core fixing a Denial of Service component and a critical inflation vulnerability (https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2018-17144) exploitable by miners that has been discovered in Groestlcoin Core version 2.13.3 and 2.16.0. It is recommended to upgrade to 2.16.3 as soon as possible. If you only occasionally run Groestlcoin Core, then it's not necessary to run out and upgrade it right this second. However, you should upgrade it before you next run it. If you know anyone who is running an older version, tell them to upgrade it ASAP. Stored funds are not at risk, and never were at risk. At this time we believe over half of the Groestlcoin hashrate has upgraded to patched nodes. We are unaware of any attempts to exploit this vulnerability. However, it still remains critical that affected users upgrade and apply the latest patches to ensure no possibility of large reorganizations, mining of invalid blocks, or acceptance of invalid transactions occurs.

The Technicals

In Groestlcoin Core 2.13.3, an optimization was added (Bitcoin Core PR #9049) which avoided a costly check during initial pre-relay block validation that multiple inputs within a single transaction did not spend the same input twice which was added in 2012 (Bitcoin Core PR #443). While the UTXO-updating logic has sufficient knowledge to check that such a condition is not violated in 2.13.3 it only did so in a sanity check assertion and not with full error handling (it did, however, fully handle this case twice in prior to 2.1.0.6). Thus, in Groestlcoin Core 2.13.3, any attempts to double-spend a transaction output within a single transaction inside of a block will result in an assertion failure and a crash, as was originally reported. In Groestlcoin Core 2.16.0, as a part of a larger redesign to simplify unspent transaction output tracking and correct a resource exhaustion attack the assertion was changed subtly. Instead of asserting that the output being marked spent was previously unspent, it only asserts that it exists. Thus, in Groestlcoin Core 2.16.0, any attempts to double-spend a transaction output within a single transaction inside of a block where the output being spent was created in the same block, the same assertion failure will occur. However, if the output being double-spent was created in a previous block, an entry will still remain in the CCoin map with the DIRTY flag set and having been marked as spent, resulting in no such assertion. This could allow a miner to inflate the supply of Groestlcoin as they would be then able to claim the value being spent twice.
Groestlcoin would like to publicly thank Reddit user u/Awemany for finding CVE-2018-17144 and reporting it (https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-core-dev/2018-Septembe000064.html). You deserve gratitude and appreciation from cryptoworld, and you have ours. Groestlcoin EasyVanity Released

Groestlcoin EasyVanity is a Windows app is built from the ground-up in C# and makes it easier than ever before to create your very own bespoke Groestlcoin address(es), even whilst not connected to the internet! You can even generate multiple keys with the same prefix and leave it on overnight whilst your CPU or GPU collects and stores these addresses locally.
If you're tired of the random, cryptic addresses generated by regular groestlcoin clients, then Groestlcoin EasyVanity is the right choice for you to create a more personalized address.

Features

• Ability to continue finding keys after first one is found • Includes warning on startup if connected to the internet • Ability to output keys to a text file (And shows button to open that directory) • Ability to make your match case sensitive (Where possible) • Show and hide the private key with a simple toggle switch, and copy the private key straight to your clipboard • Show full output of commands • Includes statistics whilst the application is running • Ability to choose between Processor (CPU) and Graphics Card (GPU) • Automatically detects 32 or 64 bit systems • Features both a Light and Dark Material Design inspired Themes • EasyVanity's search is probabilistic, and the amount of time required to find a given pattern depends on how complex the pattern is, the speed of your computer, and whether you get lucky. • EasyVanity includes components to perform address searching on your CPU (vanitygen) and your OpenCL-compatible GPU (oclvanitygen). Both can be built from source, and both are included in the Windows binary package. • Prefixes are exact strings that must appear at the beginning of the address. When searching for prefixes, Easyvanity will ensure that the prefix is possible, and will provide a difficulty estimate. • The percentage displayed just shows how probable it is that a match would be found in the session so far. If it finds your address with 5% on the display, you are extremely lucky. If it finds your address with 92% on the display, you are unlucky. If you stop EasyVanity with 90% on the display, restart it, and it finds your address with 2% on the display, your first session was unlucky, but your second session was lucky. • EasyVanity uses the OpenSSL random number generator. This is the same RNG used by groestlcoin and a good number of HTTPS servers. It is regarded as well-scrutinized. Guessing the private key of an address found by EasyVanity will be no easier than guessing a private key created by groestlcoin itself. • To speed up address generation, EasyVanity uses the RNG to choose a private key, and literally increments the private key in a loop searching for a match. As long as the starting point is not disclosed, if a match is found, the private key will not be any easier to guess than if every private key tested were taken from the RNG. EasyVanity will also reload the private key from the RNG after 10,000,000 unsuccessful searches (100M for oclvanitygen), or when a match is found and multiple patterns are being searched for. • Free software - MIT. Anyone can audit the code. • Written in C# - The code is short, and easy to review.

Groestlcoin Sentinel (Android & Blackberry) – Mainnet + Testnet

What is Sentinel?

Groestlcoin Sentinel is the easiest and fastest way to track/receive/watch payments in your offline Groestlcoin Wallets. Groestlcoin Sentinel is compatible with any standard Groestlcoin address, BIP44 XPUB (Extended Public Key) BIP49 YPUB and BIP84 ZPUB
Groestlcoin Sentinel is a great solution for anyone who wants the convenience and utility of a hot wallet for receiving payments directly into their cold storage (or hardware wallets). Sentinel accepts XPUB's, YPUB'S, ZPUB's and individual Groestlcoin address. Once added you will be able to view balances, view transactions, and (in the case of XPUB's, YPUB's and ZPUB's) deterministically generate addresses for that particular wallet.

What's New?

The P2SH paperwallet supports creating P2SH paperwallets in bulk, keypair generation with QR codes and sweeping tool. Groestlcoin believes strongly in privacy, the live version does not collect and store IP or transaction data.

Bitcoin Core 0.10.1 Released

Bitcoin Core version 0.10.1 is now available from:
https://bitcoin.org/bin/bitcoin-core-0.10.1/
This is a new minor version release, bringing bug fixes and translation updates. If you are using 0.10.0, it is recommended to upgrade to this version.
Please report bugs using the issue tracker at github:
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues

Upgrading and downgrading

How to Upgrade

If you are running an older version, shut it down. Wait until it has completely shut down (which might take a few minutes for older versions), then run the installer (on Windows) or just copy over /Applications/Bitcoin-Qt (on Mac) or bitcoind/bitcoin-qt (on Linux).

Downgrade warning

Because release 0.10.0 and later makes use of headers-first synchronization and parallel block download (see further), the block files and databases are not backwards-compatible with pre-0.10 versions of Bitcoin Core or other software:
If you want to be able to downgrade smoothly, make a backup of your entire data directory. Without this your node will need start syncing (or importing from bootstrap.dat) anew afterwards. It is possible that the data from a completely synchronised 0.10 node may be usable in older versions as-is, but this is not supported and may break as soon as the older version attempts to reindex.
This does not affect wallet forward or backward compatibility.

Notable changes

This is a minor release and hence there are no notable changes. For the notable changes in 0.10, refer to the release notes for the 0.10.0 release at https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/v0.10.0/doc/release-notes.md

(AUS) How to move wallet.dat file safely to a new wallet

My question is regarding the moving or importing of the wallet.dat file from a Macbook laptop that barely functions (it's very old) and Bitcoin QT wallet that doesn't open anymore (keeps crashing) to a new Mac computer and new wallet - Electrum. Just to explain it a bit better - I bought some coins back in 2013 and didn't touch them until I went to check up on them a few weeks ago. Weeks ago I could open the Bitcoin QT and saw that my bitcoins didn't sync up as they were 'Unconfirmed', but didn't understand much about how to get the private key etc.. Now that I have read up on that, I was going to open the Bitcoin QT and get the key, but this time the software crashed and wouldn't open again. So then I found the actual folder where the wallet.dat file is kept and copied it over to a USB stick. On my Mac computer I have downloaded the Electrum wallet (with seed), but I'm kind of stuck as what to do next. How do I move it safely? I have read many forums and it looks as though I just copy over this file into the Electrum folder and when I run the Electrum, the coins (even if they're unconfirmed) should show up. However, being super cautious - I'm still unsure how to do it securely. The wallet.dat is non-encrypted. Is it ok to copy this file over to the Electrum folder while I'm online? I have tried it while switching off the internet, but obviously I couldn't do anything as you need internet to run the software.. My main worry is - am I ok to copy this file onto my computer while I'm online? Should I encrypt it first? If yes, how? How would I encrypt it if my laptop barely functions? If I don't need to do it, is it just a simple matter of copying the file from my USB to Electrum data folder and bam, I should have my coins? Also, regarding the unconfirmed coins - they should still show up, right? And what do I need to do to confirm them? Many thanks for any answers.

Lost 65BTC, looking for advice.

Around 5 months ago, my friend received 65BTC http://blockchain.info/fb/1hg6a4 for services rendered. Recently he approached me to help him get his bitcoins because his btcoin-qt client kept crashing everytime he tried to open the application. I figured it would be about a two minute fix to run a rescan/resynchronize to to clean up a minor corruption.
After taking his wallet.dat I noticed the only address associated with it was 18nPHGz1B4Hrww7wn5qwj8we6s9WL1hL74, not the address he received payment on. I tried to gather the timeline of events as best I could to figure out where he even got 1HG6A4fCnVEKR25T9GgVxH9vVyTv5eLn87. From what i can recreate, at some point in time, he opened his bitcoin-qt client and copy and pasted his address that was displayed and sometime shortly after bitcoin-qt crashed and never could be reopened. Fastforward to where we are today.
I assumed somehow his wallet.dat was deleted, overwritten, or something. He's on a 60G @ /dev/disk0 mac book air, solid state, but since it has been 5 months since the transaction, the chances of recovering this private key seems very slim.
I attempted to recover using pywallet, and it wasn't able to recover any full wallets, but it did leave a recovered_wallet.dat with some data, but when looking at the hex, nothing seems relevant to a private key. (from what i gathered i should be looking for)
I also tried using photorec with no success.
I have not tried https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25091.0 because i wasn't sure how to build the binary for a mac os machine.
Is it time to give up?

My QT client will not load.

My computer (Mac) crashed unexpectedly and now after a reboot the QT app will not load. It begins to load the block verification thing but now just quits after 15 seconds.
What to do? I had some bitcoins in that wallet that I wanted to use.

Reddcoin-Qt for Mac OS X crashes immediately upon startup

Hi:
I downloaded Reddcoin-Qt version 1.1.1 for Mac OS X (via the download link on the sidebar), but it crashes immediately after I try to open it. I get an exception of type EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV) exception with exception codes KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0xfffffffffffffff8.
Currently I'm on a 2010 MacBook with OS X 10.6.8. Yes, I know my OS is relatively old, but the latest versions of the Bitcoin/Dogecoin clients work completely fine. I don't see any reason that the Reddcoin client shouldn't either, since it appears to be built on the same codebase. So the OS version shouldn't be the problem. I've downloaded/reinstalled at least once to make sure the file isn't corrupt.
Anyone else experience this or a similar issue? At this point I'm not sure if the file is just bad, or if there is a bug that is causing this. Any advice appreciated; thanks!

Setting up solo mining just targeting USB erupters? PC/Mac?

I am having trouble trying to get solo mining started on either my PC or Mac. I have a PC set up that is using three 7950s that are mining Litecoins. I'd like to have my 2 USB erupters solo mining Bitcoins for fun on the same system. I have the drivers installed for the USB miners and my system recognizes them.
I am starting Bitcoin-QT as -server
My bitcoin.conf looks like this: listen=1 server=1 rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass
I set up a BFG .bat like this: bfgminer.exe -o 127.0.0.1:8332 -O -u user -p pass
When I launch that, BFG just crashes. I have also tried it with CGminer and that crashes also. I'd like to keep CGminer on the cards Litecoin mining and use BFG for the USB miners.
How do I get BFG to work just with the USBs? Also, do I need to input a Bitcoin address somewhere so if I did solve something I get the payout?
Sometimes, I do more work on my Mac and am also trying to set up the USBs to mine on a Mac using Diablo miner. Will that work the same way as the PC setup once we get it figured out?
Thanks for any help.

Compatibility

Microsoft ended support for Windows XP on April 8th, 2014,
an OS initially released in 2001. This means that not even critical security
updates will be released anymore. Without security updates, using a bitcoin
wallet on a XP machine is irresponsible at least.
In addition to that, with 0.12.x there have been varied reports of Bitcoin Core
randomly crashing on Windows XP. It is not clear
what the source of these crashes is, but it is likely that upstream
libraries such as Qt are no longer being tested on XP.
We do not have time nor resources to provide support for an OS that is
end-of-life. From 0.13.0 on, Windows XP is no longer supported. Users are
suggested to upgrade to a newer version of Windows, or install an alternative OS
that is supported.
No attempt is made to prevent installing or running the software on Windows XP,
you can still do so at your own risk, but do not expect it to work: do not
report issues about Windows XP to the issue tracker.
but severe issues with the libc++ version on 10.7.x keep it from running reliably.
0.13.1 now requires 10.8+, and will communicate that to 10.7 users, rather than crashing unexpectedly.
Notable changes

Change to wallet handling of mempool rejection
When a newly created transaction failed to enter the mempool due to
the limits on chains of unconfirmed transactions the sending RPC
calls would return an error. The transaction would still be queued
in the wallet and, once some of the parent transactions were
confirmed, broadcast after the software was restarted.
This behavior has been changed to return success and to reattempt
mempool insertion at the same time transaction rebroadcast is
attempted, avoiding a need for a restart.
Transactions in the wallet which cannot be accepted into the mempool
can be abandoned with the previously existing abandontransaction RPC
(or in the GUI via a context menu on the transaction).
0.13.2 Change log

Detailed release notes follow. This overview includes changes that affect
behavior, not code moves, refactors and string updates. For convenience in locating
the code changes and accompanying discussion, both the pull request and

Stock markets crash, tech bubble, bitcoin crypto currency collapse and much more Michael Bloomberg breaks silence on Bitcoin! Bitcoin Report Volume 8 - (FLASHCRASH) The Epic Bitcoin Dump of 2020 THE BEST NEW BITCOIN CRASH WEBSITE ROCKETPOT

During loading wallet, running BItcoinQT 0.84 MAC OSX 10.9.4 Not sure what I need to post or where I should post it, any help is appreciated. Was just syncing with the blockchain when it up and crashed. Last sync earlier this week. Has otherwise been working fine since upgrade to this version - about the time it came out. It is an older version - does anyone still care? If so,... Ubuntu Linux users can use the “Personal Package Archive” (PPA) maintained by Matt Corallo to automatically keep up-to-date. Just type: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin sudo apt-get update in your terminal, then install the bitcoin-qt package: sudo apt-get install bitcoin-qt. KNOWN ISSUES. Mac OSX 10.5 is no longer supported. I was running the stable 0.7.2 bitcoin-qt client (under OS X 10.8.2) for a couple of weeks, with the block-chain completely sync'ed on an ongoing basis. No transactions in my wallet. I upgraded to the 0.8.0b release, and it spent a few hours reindexing the entire blockchain and catching up. So far so good.
