proXPN VPN Review - It's Easy To Use But Is It Secure?

Is a Bitcoin payment method proof that specific VPN provider isn't some sort of honey pot created by some agencies?

Is a Bitcoin payment method proof that specific VPN provider isn't some sort of honey pot created by some agencies? What about PIA or Proxy.sh or any other. I start to think that only IVPN is really worth to trust as they are a member of EFF (a member not a proud sponsor as some providers like to advertise themselves - there's a huge difference between membership and sponsorhip). Sad that they are probably the most expensive to use, and their bandtwith is a crap (tested myself). I start to hesitate is it really safe to use it (VPN service at ll). Proxy.sh expand their nodes a lot, I start to think who's financing them. I've read the torrentfreaks list of "wort to trust" providers but really who they are can't be trusted. What about proXPN who's sponsor of SecurityNow - I don't think they would take a sponsor who's on the other side of the barricade. What do you think in this matter?

It only has an OpenVPN client, but PPTP protocol is available for premium users only.. Also, while creating proXPN review, I discovered no L2TP/IPSec protocol support. proXPN offers two types of accounts for our members: Basic and Premium. Basic Accounts are completely free for life and offer the same level of security as Premium Accounts, just without a few extra bells and whistles. Read on below or take a look at the chart to the right for more information. Basic Account: FREE. Yes, our Basic Accounts are free. Several years ago ProXPN had a special offer for a 2-year plan that cost $50 payable in Bitcoin. I jumped on that and the service has been acceptable. When my 2 years ran out, the account continued to work! I'm on year 4 or 5 now, and my only complaint is that their updated client made the machine unavailable through SMB. So I run an older client. ProXPN also can’t compete with NordVPN’s privacy tools and security features. The ProXPN supported protocols include OpenVPN with an encryption key of 2048-bits and data encryption of 512-bits and PPTP. Their service is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, and Android devices. ProXPN supports only bitcoin. The one highlight of the Basic Account is that it offers the same level of security as the Premium Accounts. ProXPN will also point out that there is no data cap on the basic plan; but as will soon be established the unlimited bandwidth allowed is almost meaningless. because your now-unencrypted data and
