Humans value stability because that's one of the rarest thing in this universe. That's why they valued Gold as currency and why they will value the Bitcoin protocol if it remains stable.

Some people try to argue that "Nothing is ever set in stone" as if it was a good thing, but the entire course of human history has been about looking for more stable things.
About Gold, isn't it strange how this thing that changes THE LEAST of all elements has become the most stable Store of value & currency over all of human history, isn't it ?
Now think about what that tells you about the best path for Bitcoin going forward.

How will bitcoin shift into a stabilized spendable currency?

I probably have no clue what I'm talking about but...
It seems like a lot of the hype driving bitcoin is the end game of it being a stabilized currency that can be spendable on a day to day like any fiat currency. My question is though, currently bitcoin seems to be an investment for the majority of owners. This doesn't mean that people don't believe in it and are just in it for the short term, but the majority of bitcoin owned is seen as an investment. In the long term however bitcoin is going to have to shift from an investment to a spendable currency correct? Which means all of the investment money currently in bitcoin is going to start to leave as it stabilizes and, ideally, will be replaced with peoples spending money. However, it seems hard to believe that this transition will be so smooth as if the spending money coming in does not line up with the investment money leaving there will be an increase in the volatility which will cause a decrease in the demand for bitcoin as a spendable currency?
Thanks!
